Sale and N"ewe" yarn

It is hard to believe that it is now 2013. 
As "ewe" look back over the past year
 I hope it was a good year for "ewe" and that your knitting/crocheting made the year even better!

Now is the time to think of all the fibre related "things" you accomplished in 2012 
and plan for 2013!
Here is a list of  "things" you may have done or hopefully plan to do in the future!!
- learned to knit
- learned new knitting techniques - took one of our workshops - eg - to knit socks, etc
- learned to crochet
- learned new crocheting techniques
- joined our KAL- new one starting Jan.14th - Shadow Box mitts - give us a call
- made your first hat, scarf, sock or "whatever"
- made "something" special for a friend, family member, neighbor or co-worker
- made "something" special for yourself
- created "something" with a yarn/fiber you had never used before
- created "something" using yarn dyed in Ontario - The Dye Guy, Sweaterkits, Dye Version
- created "something" with our local alpaca yarn - Spring Hill Alpacas from Limehouse
- created "something" using a pattern by a Canadian designer - eg - Cabin Fever
- tried a new pattern - there are so.... many!
- signed up for our monthly e-mail newsletter - just give us a call
- signed up for our shop blog - easy to do
- came to Knit and Sip - "ewe" are all welcome
- joined the Knitting Guild - a social night for knitters, crocheters and spinners - lots of fun
- made squares for Let's Blanket Halton - over 130 blankets donated in 2012
- made hats for Hats for Ontario Initiative - another worthy cause
- joined Ravelry - a great friendly social network
- joined our page - Georgetown Yarn Knits - on Ravelry - keep up to date
- shared your craft with someone else - pass on the tradition
- attended a fibre event - DKC, Waterloo Knitters Fair, Woodstock Fleece Festival, Rhinebeck
(if you do not know about these events be sure to ask us)

Wow - how many of these "things" did you do in 2012
Hope you plan to do all of them in 2013!
