"What" I am knitting!

This is the Olympic pennant that I was lucky enough to get when the flame went by the shop in December. At last we have snow, so now I can stick it in a snow bank.

Hope you are having fun knitting/crocheting & watching the Olympics all at the same time! The faster the athletes go - the faster I knit! I have found that knitting fast is not always a good idea - I am sure you all know what I mean!

How are your Olympic knitting projects coming along? Here is a sneak preview of "what" I am knitting. Any guesses? A picture will be posted at the end of the Olympics.

For the LOVE of Knitting

As you are reading my blog today - I can only assume that you LOVE to knit!

I am going to share with you the many reasons that I LOVE to knit!

I LOVE
  • to see the look of love & appreciation when I give some one that I love "something" I have knitted

  • to expand my creativity

  • to take my knitting where ever I go

  • to teach others to knit & hope that they will love it also

  • to be challenged with new knitting techniques, etc

  • to keep my handsbusy

I imagine that many of the reasons that you love to knit are the same as mine.

Keep knitting & continue sharing your love of knitting!

Knitting & the Olympics

It was lots of fun "knitting" with my red Olympic mittens!

Knitting & the Olympics (watching TV) go together. Speed is a large factor in winning at the Olympics & you will win with your knitting if you use the Addi turbos - known for their speed! Determination & skill takes the athletes to the finish line. Your determination & knitting skills will also help you to finish a project or two during the Olympics.

So, pick up your knitting, find your favourie chair & cheer on our Canadian Olympians.

Go, Canada, Go!
