Believe it or not!

First of all  hope you had a fun Halloween.
After all the little goblins left
hope you found time to do some knitting as you nibbled on some treats.

This weekend I am off to a knitting retreat past Kingston.
This is the 3rd year I have attended and am looking forward to meeting friends
and learning new ideas and knitting techniques.

According to an email I received this week
our Madeline Tosh yarn will be here in soon!
It has been a long wait for it but I know that it will be worth it.
There will be fingering, dk and kw in lovely fibres and stunning colours.
For those who do not know this yarn - it has a huge following as they absolutely love it!

It is great to highlight projects made by our super customers - take a look at this cute outfit.
Lucky baby to get this outfit!

One of our customers - Debbie - came in awhile ago with an old but very cute pattern
She was looking for yarn and decided on
Berroco Vintage Chunky in 3 colours.
I mentioned that I would love to see the finished outfit and here it is.
Great job Debbie.

We sell such wonderful patterns and yarns to all of you and do not very often see the end results.
We would love to see your creations and you may even get featured in our blog>

Our happy scarecrow wants to show you some new Berroco Vintage colours.
We have them in dk, kw and chunky.

Liz knit this great slouch hat using
1 ball Liberty Wool Print and 1 ball of Vintage KW.
It is fun to knit as the print colour changes as you knit.

Woodstock Fleece Festival

We had a great time at the
  Woodstock Fleece Festival
This is one corner of our large corner booth.
Took  lots to fill our booth and luckily we did not have as much to bring home.

Hedgehog Fibres + shawl

I forgot to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving - sorry!
Now I can say that I hope you had a great long weekend, that you ate lots of turkey
and hopefully found some time to knit or crochet.

Look what just arrived at the shop
- a big pile of Hedgehog Fibres Sock

This yarn is so nice and the colours are stunning.
We now have over 40 colours in Hedgehog Fibres Sock.
These are 4 of our new colours
Ferrum, Eel, Dusk and Tremble.

All I can say about this beautiful shawl is WOW!
Lindsay - one of our customers who spins - spun the yarn and crocheted this stunning shawl.
She used a braid of Hedgehog Fibres BFL roving, spun it into a fine lace weight yarn
and then crocheted this "wow" shawl.

Flash
Everyone loves
King Cole yarns and here is their newest called Flash.
What a great name for all these bright colours.
Flash is a washable dk yarn and new patterns for it should be arriving any day
or you can use any dk pattern.
If socks are on your knitting agenda this is a great little book with lots of interesting patterns.
It is called
Love of Knitting Socks Little Gifts of Comfort for the Family!
Long name for a little book.

We all need help with our knitting from time to time
and this would be a super book to carry in your knitting bag as a handy reference book.
I love the name of this book
Everything the Internet Didn't Teach You about Knitting!

A few other new books!
For Crocheters
Mile a Minute Baby Afghans and Boot Topper and Ear Warmers - very fashionable .
For Knitters
